So I sit here, riddled with good anxiety and stress of the same kind (because the stress that comes with doing what you ABSOLUTELY LOVE is not the same stress that most deal with). But it is stress nonetheless. We’re very close with “I Was Broken,” and very many amazing things are falling quickly into place. We’re meeting tomorrow with an unbelievable unknown and extremely talented singer/songwriter to discuss the rights to her music and her involvement with “IWB.” Furthermore, we’re deep into the mix, and looking at the probability of rerecording this artist, thus making time of the essence. On top of this, it looks as if we have a tentative date for the premiere, that is slated for Friday, November 9th at Adventure Christian Church. (originally, we were looking at Friday, November 23rd, but it has since changed). We have a lot to do, and I will say this; Brian, Alan and myself are working so unbelievably hard to get everything in order technically, visually, etc, but it is definitely taking its toll. Again, that is a positive thing, but man, we’ve all been working on this for well over a year. We feel extremely blessed for the opportunity to make something that we love, and believe in, and I think our passion and heart will shine through to the screen. There’s a lot left to do, but we’re well on our way. And we feel so amazing about how Adventure has opened their arms to us, that we can’t help but look forward to what the future holds for “IWB.”
This is how we get down doing sound design. It is coming along quite nicely. Had a great business strategy meeting today with Hamm and Marty, and met with a local singer/songwriter Victor Edwards that we’re possibly getting a song from. Tomorrow Hamm, Koshi and I are getting together to compile all sound elements and see where we’re at. We’re getting close!
I’m in my room taking any moment I can to clean the sound up for the film.
No I’m not in Hawaii for fun i am working….
Again, later afternoon warmed up for earlier. The background almost doesn’t look real! I’m not lying about the trolls either, believe me, they’re out there. On one of our last shots, there’s a part where Noufer’s character is resting on the ground. We worked on that scene for quite a while. As you can see, there aren’t any houses anywhere, or are there? Later, a truck drove down from out of nowhere to check on us and see if we’re okay, i.e., THE HILLS DO INDEED HAVE EYES!!!
